I wanted to stay at my room one last time

Just gaze at the door from which an immature me had walked through to tread this engineering degree,

Watch the walls of my room which had freed me and taught me to live alone and take decisions

Hear all those laughs and cries which I had with my friends in this beautiful place

Visit those balconies which had once been the place of playing UNO under the night sky with soul calming music

Walk through the hostel gate and run when the guard asks me to enter my name in the entry register

Come back from the college after a tiring day and just lay on my bed browsing my phone

Just once I wanted to play mini militia with those group of friends and go crazy for a game

Play music loudly whether while bathing or just so in the room with no one to stop me

Binge watch series and movies the whole night free from nagging of parents

Sit on the benches outside the night canteen just a day before exams and gossip about good times knowing very well we are gonna be fucked in the exams tomorrow

Walking through the campus with friends after dinner and enjoy the calmness of the campus

Play football with all my friends and be carefree for that moment forgetting all about assignments and exams

Dance in the hostel corridor with my pals without any reason and talk nonsense with them

Ask floor mates to keep the washrooms reserved in mornings so that you dont have to wait

Get together and watch movies whole night and force a very scared friend to watch a horror movie

Sleep through the whole weekend and when your mom calls , act as you have been up since the morning

Make instant plans of having dinner and then checking if you have enough money to actually implement the plan

Go for a movie at 12 am just because you felt like it and your friends didn’t hesitate to accompany you but only if you paid for their tickets

Ride your bikes throughout the city and sit at a roadside stall and sip chai at 4am in the morning

Eat maggi,wafers whenever you want and have the same for lunch and dinner because hostelites don’t have breakfast

Lay on the hostel bed and wake up early just to call your friend and remind him to cast your proxy

Ready up to go to the college but receive a call from your pal saying “Bhai aaj icha nhi hai, chod na”

Madly preparing for exams a night before and watching friends in between , then receiving a call from your friend, saying chodna bhai end sem mai dekh lenge and then going to sleep peacefully knowing that even your friend is doing the same

Roaming all around aimlessly in car playing music , driving through GIFT city, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad

Hangout at Hoggers Den, Shahi Fry, Hello Boho and just chill

Just stay awake whole night with or without friends, playing soft music and enjoying the calmness

Spend the two day weekend holiday by waking up at afternoon, TP at your or friends room, or just some badminton or Football

Sleep throughout the day, wake up go to petro and come back watch movie or again sleep

 Play PUBG shamelessly the whole day with your squad and continue playing until one of them leaves

Have a beautiful bath with hot water while playing music and just relax for 45min to 1hour.  Come back to your room and lay on the bed.

Watch IPL and Champions’s League at the common room at night and enjoy the fucking match with the whole hostel

 

Go howling and laughing manically when the electricity supply is cut off at night

Just sit peacefully and carefree with a friend and reminisce those good old days we spent at a place to which we didn’t even have a chance to say goodbye
